sneezy horse

I almost furgot.  When we were far away, at the Christmas cat house, Kyle took me for a walk and there were horses!  They’re big, a lot bigger than dogs.  I could smell them.  They don’t smell nearly as good as dogs, and even worse than cats.

When we were walking by, one of the horses made a big terrible noise, and I jumped, and Kyle laughed and said “thar she blows!”  I didn’t think it was very funny, but Kyle will laugh at just about anything. People are weird that way.

Smell ya later.

happy's hollerdays

Wail, the hollerdays are all over.  Just as well for me, I never get much for Christmas and I don’t have any money to buy presents for anybuddy.  Dog’s life, ya know?

We went far and away for Christmas again this year, and we stayed in a hotel on the way and you know what?  I got my own bed!  Big enough for ten dogs, but I had it all to my self.  That was great.

When we got to the Christmas place, I stayed in the same room as Tasha and I always stayed in for years.  And Kyle came and played with me and took me outside, and left and came back again.  I couldn’t go in the rest of the house ‘cause there were cats up there.  I raned up the stairs once and saw the cats and barked – hello buttlickers! – but they ran away.

Kyle came and we slept in the room, which was good but you know what?  It was really weird, Tasha wasn’t there.  She’s never not been there before.  They kept leaving me in that room and I just slept and woked up and barked, and there was no Tasha.  That part was so strange that I decided not to poop for the whole four days we were there.  Then they put some pumpkin in my food and I pooped.  But I still missed Tasha.

Anyway, the tree is gone from the living room, and they took down all the lights off the house, and I guess I ate up all my Christmas treats ‘cause they’re gone too.  I don’t think it’s ever gonna be OK that Tasha’s not there at Christmas.  But we’ll just have to get used to that, and grab a toy and make it squeak.

Smell ya later.
